And my purpose is to unleash the genius already living inside of you.
I channel my unhealthy obsession with psychology and persuasion into leading top online entrepreneurs and influencers to super-charge their impact (and income) by amplifying their message… without sounding like snake-oil salesmen from 80’s infomercials.
I live at the intersection of Influence and Integrity; creating marketing campaigns clients are excited and proud to share with the world.
And I love underdogs.
Ever since I can remember, I’ve rooted for the underdog. (Probably because, growing up in a town of 600 people in rural Iowa, I’ve always felt like one.)
At age 24, I had my first ‘quarter life crisis.’ I quit my dream job doing marketing at a Fortune 250 company, broke up with my girlfriend of five years, and left my puppy in an attempt to beat the odds and build my own business.
Feeling lost, confused and overwhelmed, (kinda like David battling Goliath), I focused on what I do best… hustling.
Two years later, I emerged victorious… I built a business that gave me the freedom to travel, work or play whenever and wherever I wanted. I spent most of the year traveling (or trying to suck less at snowboarding in Colorado.)
But yet, I still found myself MISERABLE…
Why? Because my business was selfishly focused on my lifestyle… instead of impacting the world. So, at age 26, I sold my first business to follow the purpose deep within my heart.
Shortly after, I co-founded The Foundation, the world’s first online accelerator for software businesses, where we are reinventing the education of entrepreneurship.
Over my life I’ve experienced euphoria to near depression. I’ve spoken about marketing to thousands of people from New York to San Francisco, from Fortune 500 executives to solopreneurs to students at top universities like Berkeley, Loyola and Purdue.
I’ve swam with wild dolphins in New Zealand, went scuba diving off the costs of Fiji, and was even a magician for three days in Amsterdam. (Looong story.)
Ultimately, I believe life is a playground. I believe honest marketing can change the world. And I believe, if you ever find yourself up against an underdog, you better watch out…
